Planting a Seed of Faith

A chorus in Charity Gayle’s contemporary Christian song “Seed of Faith” evokes today’s struggles and challenges.

“So in the field of doubt, plant a seed of faith, And I’ll send the rain.”

The chorus of her song offers hope and recognition of struggles, and lately, I find myself humming or listening to this song while I drive.  It is not like the daily news is filled with hope and salvation.  For most of us, daily conflicts extend from family to religion to politics to financial concerns.

There are enough worries these days to fill an ocean.

There is Always Hope

But for all our woes, there is hope.  Seeds are being planted in what seems like barren fields; we do not see the shoots of the seeds that have been planted, so doubt abounds.  But reclaiming our American traditions, faith, and industry would never be easy.  It will rain before we see progress, which may be uncomfortable for many.  But success without effort often leads to backsliding, and we never want to return to where we have been.

After decades of corruption, we have a Washington team dedicated to restoring justice and common sense.  Where there is corruption, moves are made to isolate the offenders and remove them from power.

The DOGE group of young technicians has exposed much in this field of doubt.  The louder the screaming, the closer we are to the truth.  Where the Republicans are sowing hope and prosperity, Democrats are working as hard as possible to sow doubt.

"The tofu crowd is mad at President Trump and Elon Musk - but when you trim fat, pigs squeal."

  • Organized and mysteriously funded marauders have vandalized TESLA dealerships nationwide. Only a fool thinks this is a spontaneous effort, and if the FBI can follow the money trail, we will have new insights into this country’s opposition to commonsense change.
  • Democrats are doubling down on their oligarchy claims as they fly around in private jets, screaming about how unfair things are. They live in some dystopian alternate universe for sure.
  • Far-flung democratic judges are working to block the deportation of violent gang members. A position that places Democrats as the defenders of gangs, murderers, rapists, and illegal aliens.
The First 100 Days

These efforts are mere bumps on the road to the coming change.  We are only 100 days into a 1,461-day agenda.

Looking back over the past 100 days, a great deal has been accomplished, much of it akin to planting seeds in barren fields.  President Trump has much to be proud of, but has only planted seeds.

  • Many with ill intent have lost access to sensitive information used to denigrate or destroy opponents. Many of these people used their access to sensitive information to reap financial rewards long after leaving office or service.  Director Gabbard will root out this corruption, and we can only hope she makes the penalties so egregious that others take note and get back on board.
  • Our southern border has been restored, and the wall continues to be built.
  • An effort to deport many who have entered our country illegally has started. It will be difficult, dangerous work, but it will happen.  Tom Holman is fearless in his commitment to safe and secure borders.
  • Serious discussions about disbanding the Department of Education gained steam last week when massive fraud and waste were exposed. Secretary McMahon has the courage to get this done.
  • Major universities are being confronted about tolerance for antisemitism, far-left faculty, and anti-American sentiment. This will be a significant battle because these universities have deep pockets, but President Trump seems to be willing to take on the fight.  If Harvard falls in line, they all fall.  Attorney General Bondi is relentless in her pursuit of justice, and I bet she will win.
  • Serious discussions between President Trump, President Zelensky, and President Putin are at least happening behind the scenes. We must hope President Trump can prevail upon the other two to lay down their arms.  Over one million people have died in a conflict that can rage on for years with more death and little progress in either direction.
  • Vice President Vance has put Europe on notice that their shift to the far left, nullification of elections, tolerance for unchecked immigration, lack of military spending, embracing of climate initiatives, and dependence on Russia and China are driving us apart. His message is that holding their hand for eighty years is long enough, and if they are going to go down, they do not need to drag us with them.
  • The Houthis went too far with their aggression, and President Trump has decided to push back and pair bad behavior with consequences. China and Iran are still helping them, but the tariff connection can help control their involvement or be used to cut back their support.
  • Mexico has finally decided that we are serious about our southern border, tariffs, illegal immigration, and illegal drug cartels. They are offering some help, but will need to do much more.
  • Corruption within the USAID agency, for which the only solution was to completely disband it and transfer the remnants to the Secretary of State, where Secretary Rubio will take corruption seriously.
  • Men are men and women are women again within all legal status. The insanity of multiple genders may just be coming to an end.  We have a generation of brainwashed children to save, but the further and further we get from this insanity, the better things will get.
  • Climate subsidies and initiatives are being canceled, while natural gas and nuclear power are being given a fresh look.
  • Oil and gas exploration, as well as drilling, have started again with the intent of ensuring energy independence and dominance.
  • Tariffs have corporations talking and moving to reshore manufacturing here in America. The ill-advised era of globalization of supply chains is being exposed, and rebuilding our middle class through new manufacturing has begun.
  • The use of NGOs to funnel money to the Democratic Party has been exposed, and with the dissolution of USAID, it is on the road to elimination.
  • Shipbuilding is returning and will probably get a government boost because of its strategic importance.
  • The redacted government records on the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, Jr. have finally been released, ending decades of speculation and conspiracy theories.
  • The Jeffrey Epstein files have been partially released with a promise to release them all. If this is done, many rich, famous, and proud will become poor, infamous, and shamed.
  • The Iron Mountain failed project is being automated so that government records are more accessible, and waste can be eliminated.
  • FEMA housing of illegal immigrants is ending, hopefully encouraging many to return home.
  • Support for foreign programs and governments with which we are in direct conflict is stopping.
  • Social Security fraud and waste have been identified and will hopefully be corrected.
  • Medicare and Medicaid fraud have also been identified and will hopefully be addressed.
  • Secretary Yellen’s corrupt use of the Treasury Department to bypass Congressional oversight and to send billions to our enemies has only recently come to light. Hopefully, this will stop the use of this loophole in the future.

“I don’t know why we have to give money to countries that hate us – they should be able to hate us for free.”

Resiliancy and Courage at the Top

No matter what we thought we learned about President Trump in his first term and during the Biden era, it needs to be revised.  We do not know the details of the assassination attempt on his life, and I hope they come out.  If anyone in the government were involved, they will run like rats from a sinking ship.

However, we know several things about President Trump.  First, he has resilience that everyone underestimates.  Second, he loves America and will do everything possible to restore our greatness.  Third, anything else thrown at you looks like a minor distraction when you survive an assassination attempt.

Starting the Ball Rolling

However, President Trump and his cabinet can only start the ball rolling—they can only plant seeds.  For this to be a transformational change in government, government employees need to change their mindsets completely.

There will be many struggles over the next four years, both politically and financially.  We have in President Trump someone who is willing to stand in the storm of controversy to fulfill a vision.  We have in Treasury Secretary Bessent someone who is well-versed in financial matters and has the skill to navigate the storm.  We will all suffer some to restore order from the chaos of the last few decades, but Americans always persevere.

For all of us, these are seeds of hope planted in a field of doubt, and it is up to us to ensure these efforts are not in vain.  We need our country back; this is our best hope for restoring America.

The midterm elections are looming, and if we want our Country back, President Trump and his cabinet will need all four years to cement the changes.  To really restore our founding principles we will need to follow up with Vice President Vance.
