We started this writing project in 2023 under a different brand, and 2025 proved to be quite a challenge. But with a new name and renewed sense of purpose, here we are ready to take on 2026.
As in 2023, we are staring down a road with some sense of what is coming over the horizon, but with a good bit of trepidation. We are looking at an overhyped stock market, a possible war with Venezuela, surging gold and silver prices, raw material supply shortages, record consumer debt issues, and refinancing challenges for the government and the commercial real estate sector. Add to this mix the mid-term elections and political infighting, and you have the formula for an unlimited number of topics to consider, research, and write about.
What could possibly go wrong?
Our goal is to provide a platform for expression through well-researched and well-written articles on just about any topic. We cover everything from religion to finance to politics to education, and beyond. We hope you will join us in this journey, recommend us to others, and, if so inclined, become a contributor.
We still have the privilege of living in the greatest nation in the history of mankind, but at a critical juncture where financial missteps, cultural clashes, shifting demographics, and other issues dominate the daily news. There is nothing we cannot conquer as a nation, given freedom of speech, thought, and respect for the opinions of other Americans.
When we think times are tough, it serves us well to remember the words of Alexis de Tocqueville, French Diplomat, Philosopher, and Historian.
“The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults.”
“In the United States, the people reign over the American political world as God rules over the universe.”
“The American lives in a land of wonders, in which everything around him is in constant motion.”
“America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
Alexis de Tocqueville. 1805 – 1859
We need to remember that: Our worst day in America is better than the best day in most other countries. We all need to enter 2026 knowing there are challenges headed our way, but as Americans, we always meet those challenges head-on and conquer them.
